6. Taking your foot off the pedal

Modern day life is often lived at very high speed, leading more and more people to feel overwhelmed. Our body and skin suffer from stress. There are a number of ways of slowing life down a little: simply take a little timeout and create your own personal space where you can just take a deep breath. First of all, this relieves stress and second, it often gives you greater clarity of vision which otherwise often disappears when living at high speed. Whether you are at work or at home, deliberately taking short breaks help to take the speed out of your everyday life. If possible, fill these breaks with pleasant things such as a warm bath or a cup of tea!
